OGMESSAGE

The OGMESSAGE program is used for sending quick messages to users
in a work group on a network.  It provides a means of communicating
those quick notes to other users on your LAN without having to leave
your desk.

It requires VBRUN100.DLL to run since it is a VB application.

OGMESSAGE remains running as an Icon at all times,  you can activate
the icon to send a message to another user.  At the same time OGMESSAGE
is checking the postbox directory to see if any incoming messages are for you.  OGMESSAGE will interrupt what you are doing to display the message that you are currently receiving.

Here are some short instructions for running OGMESSAGE

1) Find a central place on your network where everyone that you
   want to receive messages can get to.  Copy the OGMESS.exe program
   to this area.  All the users that need to use OGMESSAGE can run from
   a single OGMESS.exe file.  (This is to make LAN managers happier).

2) Activate the OGMESS.exe program for each user that you want to
   receive messages.  If the user has not been installed
   before, a SETUP screen will appear.

   The Username Prompt is asking for a unique user name for the
   individual user that is to receive messages.

   The PostBox Path prompt is asking for the path name for the
   messages to be sent to and received from.  This path name must be
   the same for all users that you want to send and receive messages
   from each other.

   After the setup is complete an OGMESS.ini file will be created on
   your windows directory

   For Example,
   Suppose Joe and Jane want to send messages to each other.

   Joe's Setup
   Username :  JOE
   PostBox Path: c:\postbox

   Jane's Setup
   Username: Jane
   PostBox Path: c:\postbox

   This setup would allow Joe and Jane to send messages to each other

3) After setup has been completed OGMESSAGE returns to an ICON.
   Restore the Icon and you will be able to send a message


   The rest of the procedures are very easy and intuitive.

   I originally placed the ogmess.exe program in the winadv forum under
   shareware, but it had a HUGE BUG and did not work properly.  So I am
   releasing source code and all, so YOU can customize and Fix anything that
   you don't like.

   If you come up with ANY interesting new features that would enhance this
   product... Please let me know.  The $5.00 charge is simply to offset the
   cost of VB for a starving, yet deserving, programmer.  There is no guarentee
